Open lid on Sorvall ST 40 centrifuge
The lid latch release is on the back of the Sorvall ST 40 centrifuge. Find and pry out the plastic tabs: Pull both cords straight back until the lid opens.

Tools needed: First turn off and unplug the centrifuge. The lid latch release can be accessed through a hole on the front panel of the centrifuge. (See photo).
